The Third Workshop on PLC (WSPLC 09) will be held in Udine - Italy on October 1-2, 2009. The topic is Signal Processing and Channel/System Modeling for PLC.
WSPLC 09 will bring together academia and industry professionals as well as students and researchers to present and discuss ongoing work on existing and future power line communication (PLC) systems, PLC applications, PLC standardization activities with emphasis, but not limited, to:
• signal processing, coding, and modulation;
• channel modeling;
• measurement results;
• hardware implementations;
• narrow band, broad band and ultra wide band applications;
• indoor, outdoor, and in-vehicle PLC systems;
• energy efficient protocols;
• smart grids.
The workshop is organized by the University of Udine in collaboration with IEEE Italy Section, Italian National Telecommunications and Information Theory Group GTTI, Agemont, CRUP Foundation and Friuli Innovazione.
